Kajaran community leader Manvel Paramazyan, head of the list of the “Towards Unity” bloc nominated for the elections of the council of elders of Kajaran community, assesses the campaign as normal in a conversation with oices.com. He managed to meet the voters and listen to them. “Our campaign was in the direction of patriotic, Christian human values,” says Manvel Paramazyan.
On September 13, when Azerbaijan started military operations against Armenia, Manvel Paramazyan interrupted the campaign. “We went to the front line with the mayor candidates and volunteers from Kajaran. I again witnessed the unparalleled heroism of our soldiers. Words cannot convey what I saw, experienced and felt. I think I will still have opportunities to talk about this,” Manvel Paramazyan says in his conversation with us.
Although there are measures aimed at the security of the country and the community in the pre-election program, after September 13, it was once again convinced that they should be in a key place on the agenda. “From now on, all our goals and plans will be focused primarily on security,” once again emphasizes the head of the community, who has been through wars.
According to Manvel Paramazyan, in the elections of local self-government bodies to be held on September 25, they will not only elect the head of the community and the member of the council of elders, but will also receive answers to several questions. “We will decide who we are, where we come from and where we are going. How, with what team, with what ideology,” he says.
According to Manvel Paramazyan, by God’s will, thanks to the trust of the people of Kajar and their unity, today he is standing before the people of Kajar with honor and an open front. “I have done everything possible to justify your hopes and expectations, to ease your worries, to build our community. Yes, the brave man will live well, and that’s it. Towards unity for the sake of Kajaran,” Kajaran said in his video message to the voters of the community. Manvel Paramazyan։

Manvel Paramazyan, who heads the list, is followed by Karen Hambardzumyan, the deputy head of the Zangezur copper-molybdenum combine’s water pumping station, and Arevik Hayrapetyan, the computer operator of ZPMK.
In addition to the “Towards Unity” bloc, the “Civil Agreement” and “Republic” parties also ran for the Kajaran Council of Elders elections. Armen Arakelyan heads the list of the ruling power, and Vardan Gevorgyan heads the “Republic”.
