The Armenian government plans to rehabilitate the 45 km section of the Yeraskh-Julfa-Ordubad-Meghri-Horadiz railway at a cost of about $ 200 million. TASS: RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan told a reporter.
“According to preliminary experts’ estimates, the indicative cost of rehabilitating sections of railway lines passing through Armenia will be about $ 200 million. The total length of the railway line through Armenia will be about 45 kilometers, and the total length of the road will be about 340 kilometers, ”Grigoryan said.
According to Mher Grigoryan, the railway connecting Armenia with Azerbaijan will operate “according to the international rules of railway transportation, based on the principle of reciprocity, within the sovereignty and legislation of the countries through whose territories it will pass.”
