President of Russia Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of France Emanuel Macron. According to the Kremlin, among other things, the presidents elaborated on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
It is noted that Putin informed Macron about the results of the trilateral meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Sochi on November 26.
He also spoke about the process of maintaining the ceasefire, measures related to the return of refugees, restoration of trade, economic and transport links. The parties expressed hope that the Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting on December 15 will be useful. The Presidents also considered it expedient to intensify the work at the level of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.
