Public Radio of Armenia. The National Literary Prize “Big Book” announced the winners of the 16th season, the award ceremony was held on Thursday at the Pashkov House in Moscow.
The first place went to Leonid Yuzefovich for the novel “Filelene”.
The jury awarded the second place to Maya Kucherskaya for the biographical book Leskov: The Missed Genius. This is how the poet Igor Severyanin called the Russian classic Nikolai Leskov.
In third place with the novel “Permafrost” was Viktor Remizov. According to him, many people helped him in the work on the book, to whom he expressed his gratitude.
The winners of the readers’ vote, which took place since June this year, were announced.
The most popular among the readers is the novel by Narine Abgaryan “Simon”. Readers gave the second place to the novel by Alexei Polyarinov “The Reef”. In third place – Marina Stepnova with the novel “Garden”.
A special prize for his contribution to literature was awarded to the State Literary Museum. Dahl, it was received by the director of the museum Dmitry Bak. The Litblog Prize was awarded to Ivan Rodionov with the Chetchik blog.
The jury – the literary academy – annually includes more than a hundred professional writers, cultural figures, scientists, public and state figures, journalists, entrepreneurs.
