Malena, 14, who will represent Armenia at Junior Eurovision 2021, is leading the online voting on the official website of the international song contest.
According to newsarmenia.am, 13% of users voted for Malena’s song, followed by Georgia – 11%, followed by France – 9%, Poland and Russia – 8% each. At the time of the release of the material, the number of voting participants was almost 26.3 thousand.
Junior Eurovision 2021 will be held on December 19 in Paris, with singers and bands from 19 countries taking part.
Malena will perform at the competition with the song “Qami, qami” (“Wind, wind”). The premiere of her video for this song took place on November 19. The video has scored a record number of views on YouTube – more than 2.3 million at the moment.
The songwriter is David Badalyan (tokionine), the lyrics were written by Vahram Petrosyan, David Badalyan, Malena and David Tserikian, music producer Anushik Ter-Ghukasyan.
